Creating a Test Specification
- Open the Create new Test Specification.
- Select the template language.
- Select type definitions.
Creating Test Groups
Precondition: A Test Specification was created.
- Open the Add Test Group dialog.
- Set the Responsible employee (optionally).
Creating Test Cases
Precondition: A Test Group was created.
- Open the Add Test Case dialog.
- Enter a name.
- Enter a Text, a Pre-condition and an Expected Result.
- Set the Responsible employee (optionally).
Creating Test Steps
Precondition: A Test Case was created.
- Open the Add Test Step dialog.
- Enter a name.
- Enter a Text, a Pre-condition and an Expected Result.
Creating Test Runs
- Open the New TestRun dialog.
- Set an appointment for the execution.
- Select a Priority.
- Set the Responsible employee (optionally).
Adding and Deleting Test Cases -Suites and -Groups to Test Runs
Precondition: Test Runs were created.
- Set Active States.
- Drag & drop Test Case/-Suite or Group on a Test Run.
Creating Test Conditions
Precondition: Test Run was created.
- Open Add test condition dialog.
- Enter Test condition.
- Enter TARGET value.
- Enter ACTUAL value.
Executing Test Runs
Precondition: Test Run was created.
- Set the Approved State.
- Open the Test Run execution window.
- Start Test Case.
- Rate Test Steps.
Additional Functionality
Linking Requirements
Precondition: Requirements and Test Cases were created.
- Open the Test Specification.
- Navigate to the PSS view.
- Drag & drop Requirements.
Deleting Relations of Test Cases and Requirements
Precondition: Requirements and Test Cases were linked.
- Click the cell with the Test Case to be deleted.
- Navigate to the Traces tab.
- Delete the desired trace.

Roundtrip
Precondition: Test Run was created.
- Export the Test Run to Excel.
- Edit Excel.
- Import Excel to SOX.
